What do I wear?
Wear something you feel comfortable in, we recommend trainers or bare feet to dance in but you can wear heels if you like.
A t-shirt and shorts is best as you need as much bare skin as possible to grip the pole, but initially this doesn’t matter as much.
How many people will be in the class?
There will be a maximum of 8 people learning at a time.

What if I’m no good?
The classes will go at your own pace, and with such a small number of people you get more attention. It’s just for fun and exercise so if you enjoy it who cares?
Will it keep me fit?
Yes, it’s brilliant for toning up as it uses so many muscles. Once you are doing a full routine you really feel it. Pole dancing burns 290kcal per hour, this is more than Irish Dancing and Salsa- so get burning!
What if I think I’m too big or too old?
Does not matter! LoveSpin does not care about you age or size; we want you to enjoy yourself and get something out of learning a new skill.
How old do you have to be?
You must be over the age of 16 but can be up to the age of 100!
I can’t really dance, does that matter?
Not at all, you will learn moves at your own pace and at the end of the course you will be able to dance. Besides, this isn’t a competition – it’s about enjoying yourself and keeping fit.
What if I’m nervous about dancing in front of everybody?
We were nervous when we first started but remember everyone feels like this at first. There will only be a few other people so you’ll soon get to know them. If you are really uncomfortable about dancing in front of other people we can do a one-to-one session or come along with your mates.
What music do we dance to?
All types of music, from dance, rock to r&b. You will learn a choreographed routine to set music for each level, but feel free to bring your own music along for the spins practice. The classes are all about you and we want you to enjoy them.
